Bottega Veneta Andiamo

The Andiamo arrived in 2023 under Matthieu Blazy as Bottega Veneta's answer to the structured top-handle bag — a firmer, more architectural shape than the soft Intrecciato pieces that defined the house's previous few years. Where the Cassette and Jodie are built almost entirely from woven leather, the Andiamo mixes smooth calfskin base panels with woven Intrecciato at the sides, plus gold-tone hardware accents that neither of the other two bags carries. That mixed construction means the Andiamo's weak points sit in different places than on a fully woven bag: the smooth panels hold up well, the woven sides are comparatively more fragile, and the hardware introduces a scratching risk the other models don't have.
